The Floor Truss Load Tables shown here are for basic Colorado Front Range Residential Floor Load Designs.  They are provided for a sense of what a cold formed steel floor trusses can do.  Floor Truss Depths are within 1/8 inch of typical engineered lumber I-joists depths for relative comparisons.  A direct comparison of pounds per square foot and joist/truss spacing can be bade with typical dead and live loads as well as all load combinations as as defined in ASCE’s current “Minimum Design Loads for Building and Other Structures” ( or as defined in the current International Building Code).  As always, for any specific design project contact Rusk Component and Design for a design quote to ensure the best price and proper floor design.
